The Thyme GardenThe Thyme Garden - Summer Luncheons and Tours
Four miles east of Alsea on Hwy 34, The Thyme Garden Herb Company is more than a simple herb seed company. Its summer luncheons, which include a garden tour, are dedicated to bringing people back to nature and educating them on the importance of sustainability and living in harmony with nature.

Your afternoon will start with a guided tour of the greenhouses, including an aromatherapy experience in the conservatory, followed by a stroll through the display gardens and a discussion about herbs. Following this, luncheon is served under the fir trees at artfully set tables, the sound of the year-round creek in the background. A typical luncheon includes everything from lavender lemonade to herbal breads, salads topped with edible flowers and tasty desserts that even use an herb or two in the recipe. At the conclusion of the luncheon, you are free to wander the grounds…and shop!

$25 per person, includes gratuity

Plan on 3 hours for the tour and luncheon. Offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from June to mid-August. Your reservation may be matched with others to satisfy the 12 person minimum.
